The Julia Ideson Building’s 100th Birthday Celebration: A Day of Vintage Library and Book Fun

Celebrate 100 years of the beautiful and iconic Julia Ideson Building. Since 1926, this Spanish Renaissance Revival treasure has inspired generations of Houstonians with its stunning architecture and the endless stories within its walls. We’re marking 100 incredible years with a full day of library and book themed fun inspired by our building's namesake and Houston Public Library’s first Librarian, the remarkable Julia Ideson.
