Car Fire Captured On Video In South Houston

The fire started at about 7:45 p.m. on the corner of Kirby and N. Braeswood.

HOUSTON, TX -- A stalled car caught fire Monday evening in South Houston on the corner of Kirby and N. Braeswood. The fire, which could be seen across the street from the Portico Kirby apartment complex, began around 7:45 p.m. The driver appeared to have made it safely out of the vehicle.

The Houston Fire Department responded to the scene around 8 p.m. and immediately put the fire out.
