Celebrating the Astros, but Still Cleaning Up

Houston celebrated the Astros win over the Dodgers in the aftermath of one of the most damaging storms in history.

Houston needed a win, and we got it. Houston suffered one of the worst floods in history when hurricane Harvey sat, and sat, and dumped water on us. We took it, saved our own as much as possible and got tons of help from Lousisiana and neighboring areas.

Now we won the world series, what a needed win. Many people were watching in homes missing sheetrock or from somewhere that they don't call home. We won, we stormed every Academy and bought all the shirts to celebrate, and we will continue to rebuild.

We will continue to get our homes back to normal with our spirits lifted thinking of the late nights watching Altuve, with excitement. Our friends at PLM Restoration tell us they're still getting calls of people who's homes haven't been cleaned up quite yet.

We will take every bright point in these times when our lives are still being affected by the flooding.
