HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives A. Graf and R. Naughton reported:
Mr. Alexis was at a convenience store at the above address where he saw a male suspect, known to him as "T-Boy" or "G-Boy." The suspect retrieved a pistol from a white Dodge Ram pickup truck. The suspect, possibly a second male, and Alexis began exchanging gunfire, striking Alexis in the right eye. The suspect then fled the scene.
Further investigation led to Turner as the identity of the suspect in this case. He was subsequently charged on October 6 and taken into custody on October 9.
