Suspects Arrested, Charged in Fatal Crash at 8900 Troulon Drive

Charges have been filed against two suspects arrested in a fatal crash at 8900 Troulon Drive about 3:30 p.m. on Thursday (Nov. 14).

One male suspect, 16, is being referred to Harris County Juvenile Probation authorities on a murder charge for his role in the death of an elderly woman.

The identity of the victim, 72, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Gonzales and Officer T. Riley reported:

The suspect was driving a stolen white Kia Sorrento westbound at the above address as the victim was driving a brown Buick Lacrosse southbound on Jorine Drive. The suspect was eluding HPD officers and ran the stop sign at Troulon and Jorine. The suspect's vehicle then struck the Buick. The suspect and a male passenger, also 16, were taken into custody. Paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

The suspect driver faces a charge of murder and his passenger a charge of criminal trespass to a vehicle.

The investigation is continuing.
