Constable Opens New Substation In Northwest Harris County
The new substation is the seventh within the precinct 4 coverage area, with an eighth planned for later this year.

HOUSTON , TX — Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman announced the opening of a new substation in northwest Harris County.
The new substation, which was announced on Wednsday, is located at 15813 Tomball Parkway, at the interchance of Beltway 8 and Texas 249 south.
"The strategic importance of this location will allow Constable patrols direct access to the Sam Houston and Tomball toll ways, thus allowing us a mobility edge when responding to emergency calls for service for our citizens," Herman said.

The new substation is the seventh within the precinct 4 coverage area, which includes sections of Cypress in far northweswt Harris County, to Humble and parts of Kingwood and Atascocita in northeast Harris County.
The opening of the new substation comes less than six months aftder Hurricane Harvey flooded the headquarters facility on Cypresswood Drive, which is currently beung rehabilitated.

The his new location was funded by the Harris County Toll Road Authority and will house dozens of deputies Constables.
Construction on an eighth substation in the Cypresswood and Interstate 45 area is underway and should be completed in the next few months, Herman said.
