Convicted Murderer Sheds Ankle Monitor And Evades Police
Police believe convicted murderer is on his way to Mexico.

HOUSTON, TX --A man who awaiting sentencing for a 2014 murder, allegedly cut off his ankle monitor and is on the run.
Jose Luis Hernandez, 22, who pleaded guilty last year to the Dec. 27, 2014, murder of Bryan Blanco, met with his attorney on Tuesday, but failed to show up for his court date on Thursday.
Hernandez, a Mexican national who is in the U.S. illegally, teamed up with Frank Marinero, 23, to lure Blanco to Sharpstown Park with a fake Facebook page.

Blanco, who thought he was meeting at woman, was instead confronted by Hernandez and Marinero, one of whom, shot Blanco to death.
According to police, a passerby found Blanco’s body in the park the next afternoon and called 911.

Court documents revealed that Blanco and Marinero were dating the same woman, and that her photos were used to set up the face Facebook account.
Marinero was convicted of murder and sentenced to 99 years in prison.
Hernandez, however, could be on his way back to Mexico, according to police.
Anyone with information on Hernandez’s whereabouts was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
