Deputies Arrest Four Robbery Suspects At Dekaney High School

SPRING, TX — Four men were arrested on the campus of Dekaney High School in Spring Thursday afternoon, after they tried to evade being caught by sheriff’s deputies after they allegedly robbed a Gamestop several miles away.

Harris County Sheriff’s deputies said they began following a car four men who robbed the Gamestop in the 10000 block of the North Freeway at about 11:30 a.m, according to a KPRC report. Deputies chased the car to Dekaney High School, and the four men got out and ran, deputies said.

Deputies arrested two of the men outside the school, while two others managed to get inside the school.

Those two men were caught and arrested by officers from the Spring ISD Police Department.

KTRK reported that the four suspects may be Dekaney High School students.

Spring ISD officials placed Dekaney High School and nearby Booker Elementary on lockdown as a precaution, officials said.

The four men could face charges for robbery and evading arrest.
