Frightening Robbery Captured On Video At Grocery Store
Eight people were robbed at La Michoacana Meat Market in northwest Houston.
HOUSTON, TX -- The Houston Police Department is searching for three suspects seen on video robbing a supermarket in northwest Houston Nov. 20. The robbery happened at La Michoacana Meat Market located at 2030 Wirt Road.
The video shows one suspect jumping the counter and placing a handgun to the head of one of the employees while a second suspect pointed a handgun at another employee's head, HPD wrote on YouTube.
"The third suspect entered the store and started to rob the customers by pointing a handgun at them and taking their property. The suspects forced entry into a back office and emptied the cash register. Altogether, a total of eight people were robbed in the store. The suspects fled in a white Ram pickup," HPD said.
