George Floyd's Niece Shot On New Year's Day: Report
The four-year-old was shot in the family's apartment but is "healing quickly" her father told KPRC.
HOUSTON, TX โ The 4-year-old niece of George Floyd was shot in her family's apartment on New Year's Day, according to a report from KPRC.
Arianna Delane suffered injuries from the shooting on the 3300 block of Yellowstone Boulevard in south Houston early Saturday morning but was taken to the hospital and survived surgery.
She's "healing nicely," her father told KPRC, and is in stable condition, according to the Houston Police Department.

Four adults and two children were in the apartment when an unknown person fired several shots into the residence just before 3 a.m., according to HPD. Authorities currently have no suspects.
HPD is launching an internal affairs investigation into the response time to the shooting, Houston Police Chief Troy Finner said in a statement Tuesday evening. The family told ABC13's Mycah Hatfield that police didn't respond to the apartment for several hours after the shooting.
