The Goddard School Preschoolers in Houston (Greater Heights) Win National Art Contest

Children Created Artwork Incorporating STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math)

Local Preschoolers at The Goddard School in Houston (Greater Heights) won a national art contest against more than 450 Goddard Schools from across the nation. Students created colorful and playful works of art incorporating concepts they learned from their STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) lessons.

The winning piece was created by the Pre-K classroom, who collaborated using paint and canvas pieces to create a colorful painting of instruments. Their winning artwork earned them a large assortment of art supplies plus a visit from Goddard System's VP of Education, Craig Bach, for a private, hands-on lesson and art project on November 3, 2016.
