Houston-area resident wins national title at Fall North American Bridge Championships

Eddie Wold of Houston, Texas, claimed victory in the Keohane Swiss Teams event at the Fall North American Bridge Championships (NABCs), one of the X championship-level events held in Orlando, Fla., from Nov. 24 to Dec. 4.

This is the 35th NABC title for Wold. The Keohane Swiss Teams winners are pictured below (from left to right): Cornelis Van Prooijen, Louk Verhees, Dennis Clerkin, Eddie Wold and Jerri Clerkin.

The NABCs are held three times a year across the U.S. and Canada to bring together players of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced, with opportunities for everyone to play daily from 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. The 2017 Spring NABCs will be held in Kansas City, Mo., from March 9 to 19.
