Houston Building Roof Collapse: 8 Workers Hospitalized
The Houston Fire Department tweeted the collapse happened on the 3400 block of North Main Street.

HOUSTON — The roof of hotel under construction in northern Houston collapsed and firefighters rushed eight workers to local hospitals. The Houston Fire Department tweeted the collapse happened on the 3400 block of North Main Street.
The workers were taken to Ben Taub and St. Joseph.
The top floor of the structure collapsed around 9 a.m. as workers poured concrete Monday morning, the Houston Chronicle reported. Several workers fell to the sixth floor below, Assistant Chief Isaac Garcia told the newspaper.

Injuries ranged from broken bones to cuts and bruises, Garcia said.
