Houston Businesses Among The Aggie 100 Class of 2018
Houston had numerous construction companies made the Aggie 100 in 2018.

HOUSTON, TX -- Texas A&M University has released its annual list breaking down the fastest growing Aggie-owned or Aggie-led businesses in the world. The Aggie 100 was launched in 2005 by the Mays Business School’s McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship.
The ranking is determined by using a company's percentage of compound annual growth in sales or revenues (net of returns) over a three-year period (for 2018 this period is from 2015 to 2017), the university wrote online. These companies must also have been in business for five years or more as of Dec. 31, 2017, and had verifiable revenues of $250,000 or more for calendar year 2015.
Three of the top 1o companies to make the list were from Houston. Claiming the top spot was LJA Infrastructure, Inc., a rail design and construction company, which reported 188 percent growth. JP Services (an oil and gas company with 92 percent growth) and Big Data Energy Services (82 percent) were ranked 7 and 10 respectively.
