Andre Johnson To Be Inducted Into Texans Ring Of Honor
Former Texans great retired from the NFL at the end of last season and is considered a player with Hall of Fame credentials.

HOUSTON, TX — Former Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson was honored at Houston City Hall on Tuesday and will become the first Houston Texans player inducted into the Ring of Honor at NRG stadium.
Johnson, who retired for the Houston Texans earlier this year after signing a one day contract, wore the steel blue uniform of the Texans from 2003, until 2014.
He spent one season with the Indianapolis Colts, and the played part of the 2016 season with the Tennessee Titans before announcing his retirement.

Johnson, who is considered a first ballot candidate for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2022, is being inducted as the inaugural Texans player into the ring of honor on Sunday at NRG stadium.
On Tuesday, the Houston City Council issued a proclamation declaring Sunday, Nov. 19 as Andre Johnson Day in Houston.
