Man Who Allegedly Killed Fiancee's Sister During Sex Is Charged

Jason Farmer, 34, was arrested and charged with manslaughter in the death of Angela Estefani Montante​.

HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Police have charged a 34-year old man with manslaughter for his role in the death of a 23-year old woman.

On March 2, Jason Farmer called the police to report that he'd killed a woman the day before, and that her body was left in a hotel room in southwest Houston.

Farmer led police to the hotel in the 8200 block of Interstate 69 south, and to a room where they found the body of Angela Estefani Montante, who Farmer said was his fiancee's sister.

Police said Farmer rented the room with Montante on March 1, and that Farmer allegedly began choking Montante while the two were having sex.

Farmer said he stopped choking her when she began to panic, but that she stopped moving after several minutes, KTRK reported.

Police found the woman's body wrapped in a sheet in the hotel room.

Montante's body was taken to the Harris County Institute for Forensic Sciences, where an autopsy is being conducted to determine how she died.

Farmer, who is a registered sex offender, is being held in the Harris County Jail without bond due to his past criminal history.
