Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the assault of a woman that occurred at 3715 Luca Street about 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday (May 19).

The suspect, Krishelle Diane Russell-Moore (b/f, 22), is charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 351st State District Court.
The victim, 48, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers L. Kauffman and C. Bowling reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to the residence at the above address and learned a man and woman involved in a dating relationship had been arguing. Family members intervened and attempted to separate the couple.
The woman (Russell-Moore) then got into a Jeep and drove toward her boyfriend, striking him and a female family member (victim). The boyfriend was not injured. The female victim is recovering at an area hospital and is expected to survive her injuries.
Russell-Moore was arrested at the scene and charged in this case.
