Houston PD Investigate Deadly Crash At 6800 Foster Street

October 30, 2019 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 6800 Foster Street about 4:35 p.m. on October 22.

The male victim, 28, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead several hours later.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Lee and Officer O. Sulaiman reported:

The driver of a blue Dodge Ram pickup truck was traveling southbound on Idaho when he crossed into the intersection of Idaho and Foster. The victim, operating a go-cart westbound on Foster, ran a stop sign and was struck by the Dodge. The driver of the Dodge stated he did not see the go-cart or the victim, who were low to the ground. The driver of the Dodge remained at the scene, was questioned and did not show any signs of intoxication.
