Houston PD Investigation Into Fatal Crash At 12018 Briar Forest Drive

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 12018 Briar Forest Drive about 7:50 a.m. on Saturday (May 16).

The identity of the male victim, 66, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant S. Maness and Officer E. Rubio reported:

The victim was driving a silver Chevrolet Trailblazer westbound at the above address when he failed to maintain a single lane and struck a tree. Paramedics pronounced the man deceased at the scene.

The investigation is continuing.
