Houston PD: Investigation Into Fatal Crash At 12700 Northwest Freeway
The identity of the male victim, 49, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
May 12, 2020 - A man critically injured in a crash at 12700 Northwest Freeway (U.S. Highway 290) service road about 1:25 p.m. on Saturday (May 9) has died from his injuries.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Ogden and Officer D. Jones reported:
The victim was operating a gray Honda VTX 1300 motorcycle westbound on the Northwest Freeway service road near Pinemont Drive when he lost control and was ejected from the motorcycle. Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to Ben Taub General Hospital. Doctors pronounced him deceased on Monday (May 11).

A preliminary investigation indicated the victim was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The investigation is continuing.
