April 12, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 5200 Tidwell Road about 6:20 p.m. on Saturday (April 11).

The identity of the male victim, 65, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

The victim was driving a white Chevrolet Astrovan westbound on Tidwell when he failed to maintain a single lane and struck a fence on the north side of Tidwell. The van rolled over and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. A 7-year old male passenger was transported to Texas Children's Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The investigation is continuing.
