April 23, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male juvenile at 10115 Leawood Boulevard about 10:35 p.m. on Wednesday (April 22).

The victim, 14, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address. Upon arrival, they observed Houston Fire Department paramedics transporting the victim to the hospital.
Witnesses reported the victim was in the bedroom with them when he began playing with a gun that discharged, fatally striking him.
