Houston PD: Investigation Into Fatal Shooting At 2400 Teague Road

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a juvenile male and wounding of another male at 2400 Teague Road about 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday (April 14).

The identity of the deceased victim, 15, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Arrington and J. Osborn reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address. Four males were in a vehicle when they were approached by two unknown male suspects. One of the suspects produced a handgun and fired several shots into the vehicle, striking the two victims. The four males in the vehicle then fled the scene in the vehicle.

The males were subsequently involved in a crash about two miles away in the 1400 block of Shadowdale Drive. The gunshot victims were transported to an area hospital where the the 15 -year-old was pronounced deceased. The other victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and is in unknown condition.

There are no known suspects.
