April 1, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2503 Almeda Genoa Road about 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday (March 31).

The identity of the victim, 27, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detective J. Pickett and Officer R. Waterwall reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at a gas station at the above address and found the victim with a gunshot wound lying in the parking lot. Medical assistance was attempted, but the victim died at the scene. Witnesses stated the suspects fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.
A preliminary investigation indicated the victim got into an altercation inside the gas station.
