April 14, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 3600 Saint Charles Street about 12:45 a.m. today.

The identity of the victim, 25, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek and Detective S. Overstreet reported:

Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the area and discovered the victim lying in a vacant lot. He was found next to a vehicle that had been reported stolen. Paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.

At this time, there is no known witness or suspect(s) in the shooting.
