Houston PD Investigation Into Fatal Shooting At 6353 Richmond Avenue

The fatal shooting of a man at 6353 Richmond Avenue about 1 a.m. on Sunday (May 24) will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.

The man, 37, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Escobar and K. McDonald reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment at the above address. Upon arrival, officers learned the man had been shot by his wife as the result of a family violence incident.
