Houston PD: Investigation Into Fatal Shooting At 7302 Tierwester Street

March 30, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7302 Tierwester Street about 2:30 p.m. on Saturday (March 28).

The identity of the victim, 27, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Officers A. Henderson and E. Rossow reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call in the 3700 block of Corder Street and were informed the actual incident took place at a nearby convenience store on Tierwester Street.

Detectives arrived and learned the male victim was shot in his vehicle as he was attempting to leave the convenience store. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots being fired. The victim drove away from the business and struck a tree on Corder Street. The unknown suspect(s) fled the scene in a silver Chevrolet Impala.

HFD paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the crash scene.
