April 23, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one female and the wounding of another female at 7445 Calhoun Street about 12:25 p.m. on Wednesday (April 22).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Crowder and A. Vinogradov reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found a female deceased from gunshot wounds and another female who had been shot. Paramedics transported the wounded female to an area hospital, where doctors expect her to recover.
A preliminary investigation indicated the shooting may be related to a dispute between an unknown suspect and the victims over clothing they were all wearing that may have identified them as belonging to rival groups of individuals.
