April 16, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 880 South State Highway 6 about 6:05 p.m. on Wednesday (April 15).

The identity of the victim, 22, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant E. Attebury and Detective A. Henderson reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found the victim deceased from a gunshot wound. Witnesses reported seeing a suspect, described only as a black male, get into a white sedan, unknown make and model, and flee the scene.
At this time, there is no known motive for the shooting.
