Houston PD: Investigation Into Human Remains Found At 1800 West 25th Street
The gender and identity of the victim are pending an examination by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

March 24, 2020 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of an individual whose remains were found at 1800 West 25th Street about 4 p.m. on Monday (March 23).

The gender and identity of the victim are pending an examination by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Higgs and J. Caten reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to the above address following a report possible human remains had been found. Officers submitted the remains to an anthropologist who determined the remains were human. HPD Homicide Division detectives subsequently searched the area with the assistance of cadaver dogs, but did not locate any additional evidence.
The investigation is pending the results of an autopsy.
