Houston PD: Investigation Into Man's Death At 2525 Ssgt Macario Garcia Drive

May 12, 2020 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found at 2525 SSgt. Macario Garcia Drive about 8:30 a.m. today (May 12).

The male's identity and cause are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Miller and Detective D. Stark reported:

A city of Houston employee was seen by witnesses falling into the water of a tank he was cleaning at a water treatment plant at the above address. Witnesses rushed to pull the male out of the tank and called 9-1-1. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the him deceased.
