April 1, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a woman at 5102 Market Street about 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday (March 31).

The victim, Taneshia Sharp, 34, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers M. Althaus and Z. Brumley reported:

Ms. Sharp was sitting in her vehicle, which was parked on the street at the above address. The suspect approached her, made a comment and then shot her one time. The suspect then fled the scene.
At this time, there is no known motive for the shooting.
