Houston PD: Investigation Into Shooting At 9510 Beechnut Street

May 7, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a male that occurred at 9510 Beechnut Street about 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday (May 6).

The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition with a life-threatening gun shot wound.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer S. Laird reported:

The victim and suspect, who are both homeless, got into an argument in a strip center parking lot at the above address. At some point, the suspect pulled out a pistol and shot the victim. The suspect then fled the scene on foot. Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.
