Houston PD: Investigation Into Stabbing At 6550 Ranchester Drive

April 29, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the stabbing of a man at 6550 Ranchester Drive about 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday (April 28).

The victim, Juan Otoniel, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer Z. Brumley reported:

Mr. Otoniel was outside a corner store at the above address when he was stabbed by an unknown male suspect. It is unknown if Otoniel was alone or with someone when the incident occurred.

A witness, who did not see the stabbing, met with Otoniel after the stabbing and described the suspect only as a black male.

At this time, there is no known motive for the stabbing.
