April 7, 2020 - Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a man at 301 West Little York Road about 11:20 a.m. on Monday (April 6).

The suspect, Shawn Baldwin (b/m, 28), is charged with murder in the 230th State District Court. A booking photo of Baldwin is attached to this news release.
He is accused in the shooting of Demi Foster, 27, who was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

HPD Homicide Division Officers Senior Police Officers T. Tyler and B. Evans reported:
Baldwin went to his ex-girlfriend's apartment at the above address and forcibly knocked and kicked at the door until Mr. Foster exited the apartment. Baldwin then pulled a pistol and shot Foster. Paramedics transported Foster to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest. Baldwin was arrested at the scene and subsequently charged.
