Houston PD: Suspect Arrested, Charged In Stabbing At 633 Rushcreek

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the stabbing of a juvenile male that occurred at 633 Rushcreek about 10 p.m. on Sunday (May 4).

The juvenile male suspect, 14, has been referred to the Harris County Juvenile Probation Authorities with a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The victim, 14, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives G. Black and A. Hernandez reported:

The victim was arguing with the suspect over how the suspect mistreats his mother. As the argument escalated, the suspect got into the victim's face, and the victim hit the suspect one time to get him to back away. The suspect grabbed a serrated knife and stabbed the victim in the chest. The victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

The suspect was detained at the scene without further incident.
