Houston Police Arrest Naked Running Man

Man is accused of breaking into an apartment and sexually assaulting a woman in front of her child.

HOUSTON, TX -- A man was arrested early Thursday morning after he was seen running naked near an elementary school.

Police were initially called at about 6 a.m. by a child who told police that a man had broken into their apartment in Nottingham Park at Bateswood and Perthshire.

Police said the naked man had sexually assaulted the child’s mother in front of the child, and ran from the apartment.

Police said the child was not physically harmed.

Police began searching the area, and found the naked man running near a school campus.

The man, who has not been identified, could face sexual assault and public lewdness charges.

The incident is under investigation by Houston Police.
