Houston Police Investigate Stabbing On West Bellfort Street

From the Houston Police Department:

October 1, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the stabbing of a man at 10744 West Bellfort Street about 2:05 a.m. today.

The victim, Richard Coronado, 42, was transported to an area hospital to undergo surgery for wounds to his neck and arm.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Ferrell and J. Roberts reported:

Officers responded to an assault in-progress call at a bar at the above address and found Mr. Coronado lying on the back patio. Witnesses and evidence indicated a known suspect grabbed a beer bottle and used it as a weapon to assault Coronado. The suspect then fled the location.
