Houston Police Investigate Tuesday's Fatal Crash On Cullen Boulevard

November 06, 2019 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 12800 Cullen Boulevard about 1:05 p.m. on Tuesday (Nov. 5).

The identity of the male victim, 80, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Warhol and Officer S. Le reported:

The victim was driving a black Toyota RAV4 and stopped at a stop sign on Kilkenny. Another vehicle, a gray Ford F-150 pickup truck was traveling northbound at the above address. The victim failed to yield to a main lane of traffic, drove into the intersection while unsafe and was struck by the Ford.
Paramedics transported both drivers to Memorial Hermann Hospital where the victim was pronounced deceased.

The investigation is continuing.
