Houston Police Search For Hit-And-Run Driver Who Killed Motorcyclist
Witness: Driver of the pickup crossed over median and hit motorcycle head-on, narrowly missing second motorcyclist.

HOUSTON, TX -- Police are searching for the driver of a Toyota pickup who struck a motorcycle head-on early Friday morning.
Police were called to Westheimer Road and Eldridge Parkway at about 1 a.m. for a hit-and run accident.
A witness told police that the driver of the truck was traveling west on Westheimer Road at a normals speed, when the driver suddenly jerked and veered across the the median, and hit the motorcyclist, who was riding alongside a friend.

The driver of the pickup, which was described as a dark colored Toyota, sped off.

The victim was taken to Ben Taub Hospital, and later died.
The driver of the truck could face charges of failing to stop and render aid, as well as other additional charges.
