Houston Scores In Top 20 For Valentine's Day Locations
Houston among top destinations for Valentine's Day, according to a WalletHub.com survey.

HOUSTON, TX — Love can be communicated in any language, and in a city as diverse as Houston that’s a good thing.
That makes spending Valentine’s Day in the Bayou City especially meaningful and a great place to celebrate the love of your life.
In fact, a recent survey by WalletHub places Houston in the top 20 cities in the US to celebrate Valentine’s Day, and was the third highest ranked destination for Valentine’s Day in Texas.

The top 5 Valentine’s Day destinations in Texas include:

The cities were ranked based on several factors including average ticket prices for Valentine’s Day parties, the cost of a three-course meal for two, most jewelry stores, florists and chocolate sellers per capita, and the weather forecast for Valentine’s Day.

While Houston didn’t score high or low in any of the categories, the city did fall into the median in all of those ratings.
Austin and Arlington were listed among the locations with the lowest prices for Valentines parties, while Plano grabbed the No. 4 spot for cheapest three-course dinner for two.
Texas cities that came out on the low end included Garland and Corpus Christi which had the fewest chocolate shops per capita, and El Paso whose weather forecast for Valentine’s Day looks less than promising.
