Houston Texans tight end Ryan Griffin has been accused of vandalism and public intoxication.

NASHVILLE, TN — Houston Texans tight end Ryan Griffin has been accused of vandalism and public intoxication after police say he punched out a window at a Nashville hotel. Griffin, 29, was arrested Friday night.
Police were called around 11:40 p.m. after security at Hotel Indigo in downtown Nashville followed him to the corner of Union Street and 2nd Avenue North following the window-breaking.
Griffin's left hand and fingers were bleeding, police said, and he appeared intoxicated and unsteady. Rather than being issued misdemeanor citations, he was arrested for his own safety, police added.
