Houston Trio Assaults Hostess In NYC Over Vaccination Cards
Two women from Humble and one from Houston are charged with assault after attacking a hostess in New York City when asked for vaccine proof.

HOUSTON, TX — Three women from Texas were charged with misdemeanor assault after attacking a hostess at a New York City restaurant Thursday after she asked for proof of COVID-19 vaccination, according to the New York Police Department.
The women, two from Humble and one from Houston, repeatedly punched the hostess's face and broke her necklace, New York police confirmed to Patch.
New York City restaurants are required to ask for proof of vaccination for any customers dining indoors.

NBC reporter Adam Harding tweeted video of the fight, which took place at Carmine's, an Italian restaurant on New York's Upper West Side.

The three women were told to appear in court Oct. 5, according to police.
