Houston Mom Who Tased Son Charged With Child Abuse
"My anger management class told me not to tase him but we didn't go into what else to do," White allegedly told investigators.

HOUSTON, TX — A Houston-area woman is facing felony child abuse charges after the child was seen with bruises and welts on his face and arm, officials said. Whitney White, 27, is charged with causing bodily injury to a child after she allegedly slapped the child and used a belt on him when he refused to study.
Investigators soon learned there was more happening in the home. During their investigation, police spoke with the boy, who allegedly told them his mother Tased him in November after he’d gotten in trouble at school, KPRC reported
“From zero to 10, it hurt 10,” the boy told investigators.

White admitted to Tasing her son, who was 5 years old son at the time, when she tried to talk with him about his day at school, KTRK reported.
Investigators said White admitted picking up the Taser and using it on her son when he ran from her.

"My anger management class told me not to Tase him, but we didn't go into what else to do,” White allegedly told investigators.
White’s son and a 2-week-old infant are being cared for by family members.
White has supervised visits with her infant because she is breastfeeding, officials said.
