The video of the crime, which was only just released by police, shows two men robbing a Shell gas station.

HOUSTON, TX -- The Houston Police Department is searching for two men seen on video robbing a Shell gas station in North Houston. The incident happened Aug. 5 at 1:10 a.m. at 2917 Mangum, HPD wrote on YouTube.

Surveillance video shows one of the men jumping on the gas station counter and pointing a gun at the clerk while the second suspect stayed at the front door as look-out, HPD wrote. The suspect with the gun demanded that the clerk open the cash register while pointing the gun at him.

"When the clerk was taking too long, the suspect racked the slide on the handgun and threatened to shoot the clerk if he did not open the cash drawer. The suspect eventually gave up and jumped off the counter and fled the store along with the second suspect," HPD wrote.
