The male victim, 60, was transported to Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

The victim was on foot and not wearing a reflective vest while marking a line in the street when he was struck by a white GMC Sonoma pickup truck.
The driver remained at the scene. Currently, there are no charges, pending further investigation.
