Investigation Into Shooting Incident In Houston

Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 7913 Sparta Street about 5:30 p.m. on Thursday (February 20).

The victim, 41, suffered a non-life-threatening wound.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective A. Barker reported:

The victim, another man, and a woman were cleaning a duplex at the above address when a white or gray, four-door sedan stopped in front of the residence. The vehicle's occupant(s) then began shooting, grazing the victim in the leg. The other man and woman were not injured.

The driver of the vehicle then fled the scene.
