Kingspoint Insurance Agency Earns Make More Happen™ Award Nomination

Liberty Mutual Insurance has awarded Kingspoint Insurance Agency a 2026 Make More Happen™ Award for its partnership with Undies for Everyone, a nonprofit dedicated to providing children in need with new underwear, building their self-confidence to succeed in school. The award includes a $5,000 donation, which can be doubled to $10,000 through online community support.

The Kingspoint Insurance Agency and Undies for Everyone’s story is featured on the official Make More Happen microsite, https://www.agentgiving.com/kingspoint-insurance-agency-2, where supporters can vote to help unlock the full $10,000 donation. If the story receives at least 750 combined votes and comments, the $5,000 award will be doubled. The funding would provide approximately 8,260 pairs of new underwear, serving over 1,000 children living in poverty.

Disadvantaged children experiencing underwear insecurity are embarrassed and often bullied at school, leading them to stay home from school. Undies for Everyone provides a week's supply of underwear, encouraging regular school attendance and confidence to make new friends. Financial support for Undies for Everyone helps more Houston area children succeed in academic and social situations and easing struggling families' burdens.

Since 2023, Kingspoint Insurance Agency has supported Undies for Everyone through financial sponsorship, volunteer service, and an ongoing giving initiative. The agency helps fund the purchase, sorting, and distribution of underwear through schools, Child Protective Services, and pediatric care partners throughout the Houston area. Employees also participate in Undies in Action volunteer events at the agency's office, rolling and packing underwear for children in need. In addition, Kingspoint has created a referral donation program in which every new client referral generates a $5 donation to Undies for Everyone on the client's behalf.

“For these children, it wasn't just underwear,” said Terri Le. “It was the rare experience of having their own basic needs fully met.”

One experience underscored the profound impact of the organization's mission. After receiving a package of new underwear, a young boy carefully counted each pair before explaining that he only needed three so the rest could go to his brother. When he learned his brother would receive a package of his own, the relief on both boys' faces spoke volumes.

Throughout 2026, Liberty Mutual Insurance will select up to 36 independent agencies nationwide for a Make More Happen Award, donating up to $360,000 to nonprofits they support. Agencies become eligible for the award by submitting applications that highlight their commitment to a specific cause.
