Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 6363 West Airport Boulevard about 2 p.m. last Friday (November 22).

The victim, Emery Goodley, 20, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers Z. Brumley and M. Althaus reported:

Mr. Goodley was at his friend's apartment at the above address and went to the door to meet an unknown male while the friend remained in the back bedroom. Goodley and the male got into an argument and the male shot him in the leg. The male then left the location carrying a gym bag containing unknown contents. Another bag, belonging to Goodley and containing marijuana, was left at the scene. Paramedics transported Goodley to the hospital and he was later taken into custody on an unrelated warrant.
