Investigation into Shooting at 6231 Westward Street

Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 6231 Westward Street about 10:20 p.m. on Sunday (November 17).
The victim, Ronshon Stanley, 26 , was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives A. Ferrell and G. Black reported:
Mr. Stanley was with his brother and a female in the laundry room of an apartment complex at the above address when an unknown male suspect shot him multiple times. Stanley, or one of the other persons with him, returned fire but it is unknown if the suspect was struck. Following the shooting, Stanley, his brother and the female walked toward the complex exit. Stanley then collapsed just outside the complex in the grass. Paramedics transported him to an area hospital.
The whereabouts of the suspect, Stanley's brother and the female are unknown at this time.
